- So, if you ever hoped for Riverdale episode that centered around Archie, Veronica and her parents with a side of #Bughead, you’re in luck because that was the latest episode.
- Before we dive in, let’s get the elephant in the room squared away- no Blossoms make Shane Lee very sad.
- Anyway, Archie has gone full errand boy for Hiram Lodge and Veronica is full blown Mob Princess.
- Hiram soon receives word about Archie beating up Nick St. Claire and he couldn’t be more proud. This is quite the turnaround from last week’s you’re not good enough my daughter shtick he had . . .
- So, Archie is invited to basically be a waiter at Hiram’s Poker night, where Archie learns a few things:
- 1. The Lodges own Pop’s
- 2. Two “family” members are planning on turning on Hiram
- V is preparing for her confirmation, which leads to the most awkward apology from Ciera and Josie, where it is agreed that Josie and V will sing a duet at the event.
- The day of the confirmation, V invited all of her friends but don’t worry, we don’t see many of them.
- Josie and V sing
- Archie can’t keeps his eyes off of the traitors and V decides that Archie can never be let in on the family business.
- Archie blabs to Hiram and the next day, the FBI confront Archie about wanting proof Hiram had the two men killed. Of course Archie lies.
- Meanwhile, #Bughead reunited to find the decapitated head so Mayor McCoy will ease off the serpents, even though she had them evicted from their beloved trailer park!
- The one good person who was seen tonight: The return of the serpent queen!
- Not her sillys, Penny is back and out for Juggy’s blood!
- #Bughead find the head through good old fashion detective work and discover it was Tall Boy who did the crime!
- He wanted Juggy and FP out so he and Penny could take over! He also copped to being put up to it by none other than Hiram Lodge.
- So, they send the head back to the Lodges!
- #Bughead officially makes up!
- And on what should have been one of the greatest nights of her life, B returns home to find Alice cleaning up the blood of a stranger that had arrived moments before to “see” Chic!

- Dark Betty was seen, albeit briefly and I hope we see more!
- Juggy confessed to Toni makeout session, but B keeps her liplock with Archie a secret.
- Chic had an “interview” in his room and in a robe.
- Hal is staying at a shared B&B and we can guess who he’s sharing it with!
