The season finale to an epic season! Last week, a killer was unmasked, a new hero rose up, old foes returned and Riverdale was under siege! This week, a school president was crowned as well as the coveted Mayor of Riverdale, a faux Black Hood caught, family bonds broken, new alliances formed, we have new Serpent King and Queen, while the takeover continued. This is the end of season 2
- We began with funeral of Juggy! His girlfriend and best friends by his grave! Psyche! It was a short dream. Juggy is fine! The serpents lost badly in the battle and some even defected to the ghoulies. Sunnyside trailer Park is nearly gone and FP is done. He wants to move to toledo and take Juggy with him! To make matters worse, Principal Weatherbee is kicking the Southsiders out for their role in the damaging the school. Juggy wants to help and finds many that are now homeless taking up refuge in the Whyte Worm, the only place standing in Hiram’s way!
- Enter resident hero Cheryl who with Attorny McCoy’s help, is emancipated from Penelope but finds Hiram plotting with Claudius and her mom, in their Barn home. Cheryl is truly a superhero, as fast and quietly as she sneaks around and hides!
- When Cheryl is tipped off by her ex-mommy about a raid on the Whyte Worm set up by Hiram, she warns her new found friends and with Archie’s help, she and Juggy move them to the Andrews house!
- Both Archie and V turned on Hiram. They wanted to help Fred win the election and V wants to do everything she can to stick it to daddy dearest! She evens enlists Attorny McCoy’s help to blackmail her father to get her coll mill back, which she uses to buy the Whyte Worm, to then trade to her father for Pop’s She also had to give up pretty much everything Hiram ever gave her, which she did. She now owns Pop’s and wants to reopen the basement speakeasy for everyone and have FP run it.
- FP officially retires from the serpents and gives the leadership role to Juggy who he calls his the King. His first official duty is to make the one and only, red caped hero of Riverdale as official serpent which Cheryl gladly accepts, thus making her, in my opinion the Queen of the serpents!
- I’m worried about B and Alice. They weren’t handling Hal’s arrest well. B blames herself and fears she too has the “darkness.” Alice is well idk and if the ending is any indication, B has nothing to worry about, no matter what killer Hal says. It’s Penelope who might be in a cult and try to rope her family in!
- Finally Archie finally grew a pair and told Hiram off. He wants to prove all the illegal shady business Hiram has done and then make his bones with him! Archie is voted school president and then the all out war with Hiram started and is arrested for the murder of Cassidy from Shadow Lake, framed by Hiram! End Scene!

- Hermoine is the new Mayor and did anyone else see the google eyes she and Fred made at each other in the gym? Just say No!
- Where is Hal being kept exactly? It’s certainly not jail . . .
- Everyone was dropping out of the race for school president except for poor Ethel and she still lost!
- KEVIN & MOOSE HAPPENED KEVIN AND MOOSE HAPPENED! My top 3 couples! #BugHead, #Chonie, #Koose!!! All is right in the world!
- Fangs is alive! It was all a ploy to get the serpents rally, but do I smell a love triangle in season 3?
- Meanwhile Hiram formed his own Legion of Doom and I can’t even. Sheriff Minetta, the Ghoulie Leader, Penny, Claudius Blossom, and Penelope Blossom. All he had to promise her was a brothel lol. Legion of Loser! Their first goal: Break up the core 4!
Wow! Season 2 for me easily tops the first one! This show gets only better and better. Rivredale embraced it’s darkness this season and I hope it continues to do so in season 3!!!
