3.7 The Man In Black

I was pleasantly surprised that the once again, the seventh episode was an anthology type episode, divided into 3 stories that focused on our core four, all connected by Hiram Lodge! Let's dive in:

Archie and Juggy
- This train hopping duo came across a farm straight out of children of the corn!
- It literally took Archie 5 minutes before he made out with Laurie Lake.
- Juggy explores the town, Athens, finding it deserted of all men (and most adults . . . children of the corn) where he learns drug laced Pop Rocks ruined the town. Who brought them and G&G to small town? Surprise surprise, Hiram Lodge.
- Juggy saves Archie and the two high tell just as Laurie was ready to hand Archie over.

V
- I see why this story was in the middle story, let me sum it up for you:
- V swears off her father and moves out. Her father offers her advice she doesn't want. Turns out she needed it. The end!
- What did we learn? Ellio is a dirty cheater and V and Reggie actually have some chemistry . . .

B
- The last story was the best story and B carried it like a champion.
- While she fakes her way through the cult lead convent, B gains a roommate in Ethel, who believes she is destined to be with Juggy.
- Inner monologue B is best B!
- The sisters are giving the patients drug laced Pop Rocks, provided by, you guessed it, Hiram Lodge.
- Ethel has so downed the Kool-Aid.
- Turns out the gargoyle King has an office in the convent.
- B runs into a wall, literally in her plan to escape and Ethel tattles her out.
- After being drugged, she is taken to the Gargoyle's King office, where she screams and the next thing we see is complicit B! Nooooooooo

- Best line of the night was B's "this pyscho b!tch!"
- I also have to say B vs Ethel over Juggy was kind of fun and I hope we see more of this!

- Minetta is dead and no one cares and we all know it was Hiram.

- I'm sorry, but no one thinks Juggy and Archie are brothers . . .

-Claudius appeared delivering Maple syrup to the Silent Sisters of Mary that they definitely don't serve the patients.

- B really should have flushed her "candy"

- I really hope the seventh episode of the future seasons stay as a little anthology all connected by the big bad, but I have to say I was disappointed that not one of them focused on Cheryl, Toni, Kevin or Josie. Here's hoping for a better breakdown next year!

Next week takes us to the mid season finale and I cannot wait. B still needs to escape, we'll finally meet Mama Juggy and Jellybean next week, and Cheryl and company desperately need something to do, that doesn't involve dying. Until then, stay #RiverdaleStrong
