SO, this week Josie and Kevin had less to do, while the Blossoms(plus the Cooplossoms) and Lodges (and Andrews) took center stage. We finally figured out what Hiram’s big plans are and Archie only flipped sides 85000 times to learn this! Let’s dive in!
- The best part to me with the drama with the Blossoms and Coopers (who really are Blossoms so I’ll call them Cooplossoms) when Cheryl walked in on Penelope and a new strange man who was not a john.
- Turns out Clifford Blossom had secret will and the reading will be public. Oh and Polly is back in town with twins and Chic is even creepy with the babies.
- Hal asks Alice for a divorce and it was really weird because B was there too.
- Cheryl invited Toni to the will reading and Penelope can sense what we saw the start of last week- a Cheryl and Toni pairing. What is there ship name?
- At the will reading, we learned Nana Rose gets Thistle house while Penelope gets Thornhill which is pile of ashes LOL
- The remaining half gets split between the Blossom twins (so just Cheryl) and anyone else who can prove by medical means they have Blossom blood. Cue Alice’s grand entrance who calls the Blossoms inbred and goes after Hal for trying to hide his inheritance from her and the divorce.
- Also, Mayor McCoy is now attorney McCoy. I love Alice so much!
- While Cheryl makes a grand speech, Clifford enters very much alive!
- Cheryl was all of us!
- Turns out this is Claudius, Clifford’s twin aka Grandpappy Cooper who faked his death to avoid the “Blossom twins Curse”
- Chic doesn’t want to be tested because of needles . . .whatever
- And he’s super jealous of Polly and the twins.
- B tries to get to the bottom of who Chic really is by having Kevin Catfish him and Kevin is the worst Catfisher ever!
- So B steals some DNA and has it tested and surprise, Chic isn’t really who he says he is!
- And if you think Claudius is a chill dude, turns out he’s going to help Penelope get revenge on Nana Rose and the Lodges.
- Speaking of the Lodges, they want Fred to be the new mayor and Archie is butthurt because only one Andrews can be a Lodge lapdog and it’s him!
- Archie and V fight about her parents for the upteenth time.
- Archie goes to Josie to get Ciera to tell Fred what being mayor is really like and Josie is all of us in every Archie storyline!
- When all else fell, Archie tells Juggy that the Lodges brought Pop’s, which leads Juggy on an investigation to discover what Hiram is really planning.
- Smithers, The lodges ex doorman and driver returned to give Juggy a tip where to find info about Hiram. Also, he’s a bus driver now! At least he is alive and he still wants what is best for V!
- Juggy and FP visit a prison known as Chainshaw where they learn Hiram’s true plans.
- Hermoine is tipped off about the prison visit so Hiram decides to tell the Andrews about their plans before Juggy can publish them! Turns out he is turning Sodale High into a prison and the the Sodale area as living quarters for the prison workers.
- Fred wants nothing to do with it but guess who does?
- Archie and Hiram take a blood oath and I can’t even with Archie.
- Hermoine announces she is running for mayor of Riverdale which is so LOL.
- Juggy realizes Riverdale is doomed!
*****Extra Tidbits*****
- Me thinks Fred will still run for mayor.
- Alice’s thanking God she doesn’t have Blossom blood is a highlight!
- But Alice, letting your crazy murderer of a son take infant babies on a “walk” to sweetwater river . . . blinded by love. We all thought he was going to drop those babies in the river!
- I lost count of how many times Hiram was compared to Dracula lol
