2.18 A Night to Remember

BEST EPISODE EVER!!!!! The singing, the dancing, the progression and wrapping up of lingering storylines, a shocking return and sudden goodbye! Buckle up, Riverdale is back!!!

• Kevin recruits Juggy to be the cameraman and film all of the behind the scenes of Riverdale High’s Carrie: The Musical!
  
• The opening number allows everyone to show off some singing skills. Cheryl- Amazing, B&V and Josie we’ve all heard before and they’re great, Archie’s small bit was rough, but who has some amazing vocal pipes? Kevin and Ethel! More please!
  
• Your cast: Our fave as Carrie
  

  
  Alice as Carrie's mom
  
• V as the bad girl and Chuck as her boyfriend
  
• B as the good girls and Archie as her boyfriend
  
• And others that include Toni, Ethel, Moose, Midge and Reggie as the ensemble!
• To settle the whispers of her not being good enough for the lead role, Cheryl sang “Carrie” and it was fabulous!!!
  
• Then a sad bag almost killed our girl!
• Kevin receives a letter from the supposed Back Hood demanding Carrie be recast!
  

  
• All through the episode I loved the contrast of B&V and their opposing Carrie characters. B was serving up sassiness and maybe became a little mean, but don’t worry, through song, our fave BFF’s made up!
  

  
• Speaking of making up, Cheryl and Josie did too, through song of course!
  

  
• When B finds out about the Blackhood letter, she and Juggy suspect Ethel who wanted to be Ethel but she claims innocence because you know, she’s Barb!
  

  
• After Kevin receives a second letter threatening Cheryl, Penelope pulls her from the show because you know, Penelope is awful!
  

  
• Cheryl’s replacement- Midge
• While singing (and sounding amazing) Alice sings B and they too make up!
  

  
• The night of the musical, while Cheyle went full Carrie on Penelope, demanding emancipation and Thissle house.
  

  
• Everyone else sang about show!
  

  
• Juggy catches Fangs with . . . Midge, giving her "notes". Sure. Does Toni believe him?
  

  
• And finds letter clipped magazines in Ethel’s trash!
  

  
• Chic shows up to be creepy and wish B luck.
  

  
• My dreams of FP and Alice are dashed again when he sees her with Hal. NOoooooooooooo!
  

  

  
  
  
• And while Kevin, Cheryl and other Riverdale citizens watch on, it is revealed that Midge has been murdered by the Black Hood!!!!

• Don’t hate me, readers, but I don’t think Archie sings that well!
  

  
• Archie at least wised up and gave his Firebird back to Hiram and chose one butt ugly car to fix up with Fred!
  

  
• How dare Hiram try to blend in by concocting “Wicked” Plans!
  

  
• Hermoine of course through advertisement try to make the musical about her.
• So, if Fangs is a cheater, (and probably the next victim) does this mean Kevin and Moose stand a chance? (RIP Midge)
• Carrie the Musical is the perfect music for this show!
• I only wish we had a Alice and Cheryl duet!

I finally have a new favorite episode! A Night Remember sure was that. The Black Hood returned, the cast really did an amazing job, and so many things wrapped up to pave the way for the end of the season. I really hope they put out this soundtrack with the cast singing the musical! I know I’d buy it! Until next week, stay #RiverdaleStrong
