Riverdale 4.2 Fast Times at Riverdale High

Hello again, everyone! Welcome back! Another week has passed and the season has officially started. Let's get to it!

10. The Time Jump
If you're like me and read all Riverdale news and frequent their subreddit, you heard talk of a "time jump" in the second episode. Yes we had one and no, it was not as everyone made it out to be. The first episode took place in the summer, the 4th of July. Now school has started back. That's it, we skipped a few weeks and that's all. Riverdale always begins with a time jump. We see clips of summer, and start at the new school year! I don't get what all the talk and worry was about . . .

9. Mr. Honey
A New school year brings a new principle, who is a lot stricter with our gang (as he should be), but the problem begins when he tries to butt in after school, when he has no real say so over what they do. He called the police, lying about a noise complaint to interrupt Cheryl's party, where underage drinking was taking place, so that was a good guess on his part, but I get the feeling he's a "no fun" type of guy and they could have been playing pin the tale on the donkey and would have still called the police.

8. Stone Wall Prep
This week, we were introduced the Stone Wall Prep which is suppose to be some kind of boarding school . . . but they are interested in our Juggy, because of his superior writing skills and knack for occasionally wanting to learn something or better himself. While I understand while a school like this would want someone like Juggy, I can't help but to wonder why now? He's a senior off to college, should this not have happened sooner? PS: Juggy would be a legacy because his grandfather attended.

7. Reggie's Dad
Holy crap, you guys! Reggie has a story line! I totally expected this to be solved in an episode or two, but they have finally confirmed, while hinting in past seasons, that Reggie's dad hits him. So, to get even, Reggie destroy's his dad's vintage car. Yeah, this will have no consequences.

6. Kevin Can't Quit the Farm
Kevin tried to make amends with B this week, but only because 30 seconds later, he runs to meet to Fangs to tell him all the info so the farm can stay 10 steps ahead of the authority. In the end, B and her new step-brother, used Kevin to feed info to Fangs to get the Farm's location, but the farm is ready for a battle!

5. V & the Paparazzi
V is the center of attention, for all the wrong reasons. She spends most of the episode trying to avoid any and all paparazzi that want her to choose a side in the court battle and charges against her parents. Hiram laid blame on her, but V finally gives in to a press conference and pretty much admits all that she did was under the direction of her parents, because you know she's a minor.

4. Dead Jason
Oh Cheryl, you are my favorite and have always been a little cray-cray, but talking to your dead brother's body, which has to reek of decay by now is just so extreme. Nothing good will come of this and tick-tick until Toni finds her with it, and breaks up, running away from Thistle House.

3. Cheryl's Revenge
At the end of the episode, we're treated to Mr. Honey finding a giant honey comb/hive on his desk, swarming with bees, courtesy of Miss. Blossom. Love it! How did she get that thing in there though? Is she the bee whisperer.

2. #Bughead Leaves Class
I love how just as class began, B pulls Juggy out to tell him to accept Stonewall's offer. I'm sure she'll regret this later, but I love how the teacher did not even notice. She's probably use to this by now. If i had tried to pull that number with a friend, let alone by myself, I would have detention so fast my head would spin!

1. The Flash Forward
Finally, we're treated to another flash forward to Spring Break, where Juggy has gone missing! We saw the gang burn his signature beanie, so where is Juggy? (If you have seen the previews, we know, wink, wink)

And that does it for this week. So far, the big overall mystery is what the hell happens during Spring Break, but I kind of miss a big, mysterious bad like Gargoyle King or Black Hood, but maybe we'll get something better! Until next time, stay #RiverdaleStrong !
